GLoBALLers can visit the National Sports Museum at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG)
The National Sports Museum (NSM) celebrates the place of sport in Australian life. It promotes national identity, sporting pride and celebrates the contribution sport has made within the development of the unique Australian culture. The achievements of Australian sportsmen and women, at all levels, are showcased within interactive exhibitions including sporting artifacts.
The museum is well worth a look because there are stories and images representing all sports played within Australia (which is a lot in our proud sporting culture)!
Open: 10am to 5pm most days.
♦ Enter: via gate 3 at the MCG.
♦ Time: allow approximately 90 minutes to have enough time to explore (and play)!
